EVENT: Shroomtober 2026

Something monstrous is sprouting across Outlands! Shroomtober has begun!

Throughout October, monsters across the realm will drop Mushroom Spores, which can be cultivated into a sprawling collection of strange and unusual fungi. This year’s harvest takes inspiration from the classic monsters of horror, with five peculiar new species waiting to be unearthed: the Silted Gillcap, Phantom Bell, Sanguine Parasite, Patchwork Polypore, and* Lunar Bristlecap.

Those seeking a more bountiful harvest should descend into Undermountain, where its denizens appear especially riddled with infection. Spores can be found throughout the realm, however, so no corner of Outlands is safe from the spread!

As always, Mushroom Spores are rarer than the seeds of harvest season, so expect a proper hunt. Gather spores, grow your gardens, and catalogue this year’s monstrous new specimens before they disappear at the stroke of midnight on All Hallows’ Eve.

It’s alive! IT’S ALIVE! Shroomtober runs October 1st through October 31st! For more information, click here: https://forums.uooutlands.com/index.php?threads/shroomtober-2026-thurs-october-1st-at-11am-et-until-october-31st.6364/
