The seal on the Tidal Tomb is weakening… Strange waters seep into the land, humming with otherworldly energy. Prevalian scholars have coined it Aetheric Water, the key to unlocking the lost Tidal depths. And so begins the Aetheric Purity Event.

From Saturday, November 8, 2025 11 AM until Saturday, November 15, 2025 1, adventurers across the realm will hunt for Aetheric Water samples found as uncommon loot from nearly all aspects of gameplay. Each sample holds a shifting purity value. Collect three, visit Yaric the Aetheric Researcher in Prevalia or Corpse Creek, and attempt to combine a perfect 7.0 purity sample. The closer you are, the more [EventScore you earn.

Once enough knowledge is gained and true purity is found, our scholars believe the ancient seal can be broken, and survival within the inhospitable Tidal Tomb may finally be possible. When the final sample is offered and the research is complete, the Tidal Tomb will open on Sunday, November 16, 2025 11:00 AM.
