PATCH: July 21 – New Seamap Tables, Bug Fixes and more

- Players should now be able to recycle creature-looted or non-crafted versions of items that don’t require Ingots/Boards/Leather to craft (such as Spell Scrolls / Spell Books / etc)
- As a reminder, if players have a player-crafted stack of items (such as Iron Trap Wire) and if they combine that stack with an NPC-bought stack of the same item, the item will lose its “Player-Crafted” status and no longer be recyclable (currently only player-crafted versions of items requiring Ingots/Board/Leather can be recycled)
Tamed Creature Abilities
- Fixed an exploit where players could have a tamed creature that uses AoE attacks (such as Barbed Prowler) attack another of their own tamed creatures to bypass the normal PvP ability chance handling and trigger abilities AoE that affect other players in PvP at a drastically improved rate
Passive Animal Taming
- Added a toggle on the Animal Lore page that toggles whether the player will make use of Passive Animal Taming points or not
Heat of Battle
- Fixed an issue where a player with a Heat of Battle longer than 2 minutes (due to PKing with multiple players) could sometimes be reduced down to 2 minutes through various means
Rental Rooms
- Fixed a recent issue where Rental Rooms being acquired would appear “in the black” and off the map
- Players can page a GM and can be refunded for their current Rental Room contract and will be able to rent another room correctly
- Fixed an issue where a player would sometimes have their Rental Room town switched to Corpse Creek (was occuring after a player reported a murder and the attacker themselves became a murderer from it)
- Fixed several issues with visibility of other players in Rental Rooms (players should normally only be able to see themselves and their own tamed creatures while inside a Rental Room)
Hiking
- Players using Hiking via the Camping skill will now be frozen in place for 5 seconds (previously was 10 seconds)
Player Stats Profile
- Fixed an issue where players toggling “Presume Stealth Backstab” weren’t seeing damage bonuses to their effective PvM damage for having Stealth above 100 skill and Mastery Chain damages for Backstab weren’t being factored into the number displays either
Arenas
- Available Tournaments page now has “Signup Begins One Hour Before Start” displayed
Crafting
- Players using a Board Commodity for crafting Ship Deeds will now correctly have those boards (5000) counted for [ServerRank and Antiquity Crafting chances
Curing
- Fixed an issue where a player could potentially get a negative Cumulative Cure Chance in some fluke circumstances, making curing more difficult than normal
Doubloons
- Mastery Chain Experience gains for doubloon acquisition have been reduced to 50% of normal
Ship Crewmember Loyalty Experience
- Recoded the handling on Ship Crewmember Loyalty XP to now always assign xp for damage players do at sea to crewmembers of the player’s Origin Ship (i.e. the first ship they set foot on from land, that they are members of the Fighting Party of)
Treasure and Resource Maps
- Removed a handful of locations from the pool of spots for Treasure and Resource Maps that are inaccessible (locations are in spots that players can place houses at)
Seamap Tables
- Seamap Tables now come in South and East Addon versions which are intended to replace the existing Small and Large Seamap table addons
- Players can now use the Prevalia Exchange Officer to receive refunds for their existing Small and Large Seamap Tables and can purchase the new South/East versions in the Prevalia Marketplace Merchant
Outlands Map Tables
- Added an Outlands Map Table add-on deed to the Prevalia Market under the “Misc” categories next to the Donation Map item listings
- Outlands Map Tables when double-clicked will display this week’s current Region Bonuses (similar to Donation Maps)
Shrine Corruptions
- Creatures at Shrine Corruptions can now spawn as Paragons
- Creatures at Shrine Corruptions can no longer be tamed
Society Rewards
- Spending Society Job Reward Points to purchase items now has a double-click confirmation
Strangelands
- Slightly lowered the threshold to cause Strangehell Plant Cluster spawns (should occur a little bit more now)
- Removed Bandages and Blade Spirits scroll from the Bard Template
- Fixed an issue where players using the Barbarian Rope at the exact moment Strangelands ended would cause the player to not regain their initial items/skills/stats
Systems and Backend
- Fixed a geometry issue where some boundaries (zones for pvp events, etc) weren’t be calculated correctly (the right side/bottom side of zone was being calculated 1 tile short)
- Fixed an issue that should resolve some issues with correct displaying of mounts in some circumstances (sometimes players will appear “mounted” while as ghosts)
- Added more support functionality for In-Game messages -> Discord
Misc
- Fixed an issue where rotating a Stranglands Deco stone would result in an incorrect ItemID
- Fixed a crash issue related to XMLSpawners and custom ability handling
- Fixed an issue with duping Book contents (copying books)
