PATCH: March 9 – Dungeon Flashpoints & Corpse Creek Contest Updates, Hue Fixes and more
03 / 09 / 2021Houses
- Fixed an issue that was causing Rural Courtyard house signs to have an incorrect Z-level
- Fixed the Ban Location on the Light Brick and Whitewash Adobe house
Dungeon Hues
- Fixed an issue that was causing some Dungeon Hue loot items to drop as unhued (existing ones should be correctly set to Wilderness Hue 1182)
Storage Shelves
- Fixed an issue where Material Spellbooks coming out of Storage Shelves were displaying as “Magic Spellbooks” instead of their proper material name
Player Stats
- Fixed an issue that was causing the Wrestling skill Charged Spell Chance bonus to not show up correctly in the [Stats page for players
Public Moongates and Dungeon Teleporters
- Players will no longer be allowed to place any Impassable objects on the ground within 4 tiles of a Public Moongate or Dungeon Teleporter (this was previously a staff-enforced rule but had no in game mechanic preventing it)
Boss Spawns
- Fixed an issue that could potentially cause a “double” Boss Spawn
- Fixed an issue that was causing Ocean Mini-Boss and Ocean Bosses to occasionally despawn
Contested Boss Spawns
- When a player leaves the boss room of a Contested Boss (grey zone), they will flag as Orange for 2 minutes to any other player who has set foot in the Boss Room within the last 2 minutes (this is to curb players simply waiting outside a boss room but never venturing inside)
- There is now a 5 minute window after the death of a Contested Boss where the Boss Room will remain a Grey Zone (to give players time to exit the area, rather than immediately turning blue to each other)
- Contested Bosses will now only increase their Hit Points and Damage by 50% of normal when increasing in size due to player damage, compared to normal Bosses
Dungeon FlashPoints
Beacons
- When a player “caps” a Beacon during a Control Tick (happens every 30 seconds) and earns points from it, they and their guild will be guaranteed to earn at least that many points during the next 3 Control Ticks (90 seconds) even when away from beacons, so long as the player stays within the Dungeon Flashpoint Event Region (level 1 of the dungeon) and isn’t hidden or prevented from earning control points at that time
- If a player caps another beacon worth more points during that 90 second period, a new 90 second period will begin with that higher points value guaranteed for them and their guild (and so on)
- This change should allow players to “cap” a beacon, and then spend the next 2 minutes fighting around the dungeon, before needing to return to another beacon to continue earning control points again
Impassable Objects
- Players will now be prevented from dropping Impassable objects in the event area of a Dungeon Flashpoints (level 1 of the dungeon)
Location Names
- Fixed an issue that was causing the Ossuary Dungeon Flashpoint to display as “” blank
Corpse Creek Contest
Beacons
- When a player “caps” a Beacon during a Control Tick (happens every 30 seconds) and earns points from it, they and their guild will be guaranteed to earn at least that many points during the next 3 Control Ticks (90 seconds) even when away from beacons, so long as the player stays within the Corpse Creek Region, isn’t hidden, inside a house, or prevented from earning control points at that time
- If a player caps another beacon worth more points during that 90 second period, a new 90 second period will begin with that higher points value now guaranteed for them and their guild (and so on)
- This change should allow players to “cap” a beacon, and then spend the next 2 minutes seconds fighting in the field, before needing to return to another beacon to continue earning control points again
Impassable Objects
- Players will now be prevented from dropping Impassable objects outside of houses while a Corpse Creek Contest is in progress
Healers
- Fixed the issue that was causing NPC Healers from having no delay on resurrecting people during Corpse Creek Contests (should be 60 second delay)
- We have added 5 new Wandering Healer locations in Corpse Creek on the perimeter of the region for the purposes of resurrecting during Corpse Creek Contests
