EVENT: The Field of Souls Beckons! Available October 23rd through November 1st

How Do I Participate?

• Obtain an Empty Soul Jar
  • Can be purchased for 1000 Gold from an Occult Merchant in Prevalia or Corpse Creek
  • Chance of dropping as loot from monsters while the event is active
• Locate an Eerie Corpse (found in Towns, Dungeons, and the Wilderness)
• Double-click an Empty Soul Jar while within 4 tiles of an Eerie Corpse to fill the jar with its soul
• Travel to an Occult Merchant within 2 Hours of filling the Soul Jar and click the Enter the Field of Souls button
• Find and slay the Eerie Spirit matching the name spoken by the Eerie Corpse to earn Event Points (players may single-click their Filled Soul Jar to see that soul’s name)
• Players will have 15 minutes within the Field of Souls, regardless of how many Filled Soul Jars they take in, and then be ejected to town

How Do I Earn Event Points?

• Filling a Soul Jar: 25 Points
• Slaying an Eerie Spirit: 10 Points
• Slaying a Reaper of Souls: 30 Points
• Harvesting Deathbloom: 30 Points
• Slaying a Roaming Nightmare or Terror: 75 Points
• Slaying an Eerie Spirit matching a Filled Soul Jar: 75 Points and +33% Bonus to Future Points (for the rest of the session)

Additional Event Info:

• Empty and Filled Soul Jars cannot be stolen by players (but can be looted)
• Any Filled Soul Jars will shatter within 2 hours if not brought to the Field of Souls
• Players may only enter using Filled Soul Jars that they themselves have captured
• Players will have 15 minutes within the Field of Souls, regardless of how many Filled Soul Jars they take in, and then be ejected to town
• Players cannot perform harmful acts to other players in the Field of Souls
• All items on a player are considered Blessed while inside the Field of Souls region
• Leaving the Field of Souls (by any means) will shatter any Filled Soul Jars on a player
• There are around 150 Town, 700 Dungeon, and 100 Wilderness Eerie Corpse locations
• A new Eerie Corpse spawns every 1 minute until there are about 100 active Eerie Corpses in the world

Surviving the Field of Souls:

• Eerie Spirits will NOT attack a player unless it is attacked first

• Reapers of Souls, Roaming Nightmares, and Roaming Terrors WILL attack players on sight

• Deathbloom plants can be found in the Field of Souls and can be harvested by double-clicking them
• However, players will become “Doomed” by harvesting them and after 30 seconds will take 75 raw damage (ignore armor)

• Eerie Spirits and Reapers of Souls have a chance to spawn as Mounted

• If an mount Eerie Spirit or Reaper of Souls is killed, they will leave behind their Skeletal Mount which any player can ride by double-clicking it
• Skeletal Mounts will disappear if the player riding it Dies, Dismounts, or leaves the Field of Souls area

What are the Event Prizes?
The % number represents a player’s rank for overall score for the event. Players will receive all the prizes for ranks below their current reward tier as well in their banks automatically after the event ends. The new prizes for this year are:

• Bloody Wall Trophy 0-10%
• Hanging Bat 10-30%
• Pumpkin Scarecrow 30-70%
• Vampire Skeleton (random special hue) 70-90%
• Skull Tree 90-100%
