PATCH: December 1 – Winter Has Come, Codex and Omni Fixes and more

Winter has arrived! Many areas in the world have gotten a festive and freezing new aesthetic to go with the holidays.

 

 

Codex and Weapon Profiles

  • Fixed an issue where players were not earning Shield Codex experience due to their weapon not being able to earn codex experience
  • Players can no longer earn Weapon / Shield Codex experience in the New Player Dungeon
  • Fixed stance descriptions for Arcane Ammunition and Wind Up Stance
  • Players using [Commands to switch Stances/Ammunition should now correctly check and consume mana like switching through the Codex menu

Omni Bosses and Boss Scaling

  • For every new, unique player that inflicts 2,500 damage to any of our boss-level creatures, it will increase the bosses Damage Dealt by 1.0% and increase the potential loot by 0.5%
  • Omni Bosses will now distribute a Mastery Chain Link every 750,000 Damage (i.e. one for every 3 “Players”, as per changes listed below)

 

The starting Hit Points for boss-types are now as follows (with ocean boss-types having listed exceptions):

Ocean Mini-Boss: 20,000 Hit Points
Mini-Boss: 40,000 Hit Points
Lore-Boss: 40,000 Hit Points
Ocean Boss: 40,000 Hit Points
Boss: 80,000 Hit Points
Omni Boss: 750,000 Hit Points

 

For every new, unique player that inflicts 2,500 damage to one of these boss-types, it will increase the bosses Hit Points by the following:

Ocean Mini-Boss: +10,000 Hit Points
Mini-Boss: +20,000 Hit Points
Lore-Boss: +20,000 Hit Points
Ocean Boss: +20,000 Hit Points
Boss: +40,000 Hit Points
Omni Boss: 250,000 Hit Points

 

The maximum number of unique players that can damage a boss-type and cause it to increase its hit points / damage / loot are as follows:

Lore Boss: 10 Unique Players
Mini-Boss: 20 Unique Players
Boss: 40 Unique Players
Omni-Boss: 60 Unique Players

 

Loot Increases on Boss-Types

  • In the case of high volume items like Gold, Reagents, Arrows, etc these amounts will increase by a flat amount of 0.5% per player
  • In the case of “guaranteed” drop items like Aspect Cores, each player involved will have a 0.5% chance to cause that loot item to drop a second time for each that normally drops
  • In the case of “rare” drops that have drop chances, each player involved adjusts the loot drop chance by 0.5% of the normal amount

Omni Gates

  • Fixed an issue that was preventing players who summoned an Omni Boss from being able to enter Public Omni Events from their own Omni Gate

Guild Favors

  • Players can no longer activate multiple Guild Favors of the same type for the same region simultaneously (or multiples of the same type that affect “everywhere” such as Boss Damage Increase)

Guild Summoned Boss Aggression

  • Players who attack a Mini-Boss or Boss summoned by another guild (i.e. has a [Summoned by X] tag), will now also flag as Orange to allies of the summoning guild as well to the summoning guild

Great Sunken Serpent

  • Fixed several issues related to Boss Scaling, Summoning Tags, and hit points handling on the Pulma Great Sunken Serpent boss related to the recent Boss Overhaul patch

Crash Fix

  • Fixed a network-related crash issue
