PATCH: December 20 & 23 – Aspect Support Items, Winterlands fixes, Murderer Updates and more!
12 / 27 / 2019Read below for the latest patch notes:
Murderer IP Dungeon Restrictions
- Fixed several issues that were preventing players currently under a Murderer Restriction from attacking ANY player (they should only be restricted from attacking Blue players)
- Fixed an issue where a player sometimes would not receive a Murderer Restriction when they should have
- Dungeon and Wilderness Restrictions should show factor in MAH (Multi Account Households) IP Sharing
- We have adjusted the durations of our Dungeon and Wilderness restrictions implemented in our last patch
- Additionally, all player’s Long Term murder counts have been wiped, and their Short Term Murder Counts reduced to 5
When a Murderer is killed at a Dungeon location
- They receive an IP-wide restriction preventing them from entering that dungeon for the next 2 hours
- They receive an IP-wide restriction preventing them from entering all other dungeons for the next 15 minutes
When a Murderer is killed at a Wilderness (non-Dungeon and non-Town) location
- They receive an IP-wide restriction preventing them performing hostile actions to other players in the Wilderness for the next 2 hours
- They receive an IP-wide restriction preventing them from entering all dungeons for the next 15 minutes
Aspect Kits
- Players can now convert any excess Aspect Kits they have (most likely gained from our recent Aspect Activation refund) into their original ingredients at the Prevalian Exchange Officer in Prevalia
Notoriety
- Fixed a Party-related issue where players would sometimes turn Green to other players unintentionally
Parties
- Fixed an issue where Experience Sharing was not always dividing equally
- “Resurrections” are now tracked per party
Aspect Support Items
- Players may now craft Aspect Support Items such as Weapon Oil, Spell Foci, Arrow, and Bolt Bundles
- Aspect Support Items, when activated, provide a damage boost to players against creatures while wielding Aspect Weapons or Aspect Spellbooks
- Additionally, Aspect Support Items will also increase the chance for a player to trigger Aspect Weapon/Spellbook Specials if the item’s Aspect matches the Aspect of the weapon or spellbook being wielded
- For example, a player wielding a Fire Halberd could carry a Poison Weapon Oil with them and gain the damage bonus from it, but would not gain a bonus to triggering Aspect Weapon Specials (because their aspects do not match)

- In order to use an Aspect Support Item, players must have it in their backpack and double-click it to “Activate” it
- Players can only have one Aspect Support Item of each type activated at any time, and must keep them in their backpack to receive the benefit from them
- Players must have an Aspect Weapon or Aspect Spellbook (explained below) equipped to gain the benefit from an Aspect Support Item
- Aspect Support Items will lose charges at the same rate that the the player loses Arcane Essence for wielding Aspect Weapons / Aspect Spellbooks
- Players can double-click an activated Aspect Support Item to “Deactivate” it (and no longer receive the benefit from it or lose charges from it)

Tinker Floor Traps
We have revised the handling on the patch’s restriction’s for Tinker Floor Traps
Tinker Floor Traps can now damage as many creatures as possible in their range of effect unless they occur at any of the following locations/scenarios:
A Protected Event Area (such as Halloween Field of Souls event area / Winterlands event area)
A Shrine Corruption Event
Any Boss Event (Mini-Bosses, Bosses, Omni-Bosses, Event Bosses)
At these locations, Tinker Floor Traps will only affect up to 5 creatures each unless more than 10 creatures on the screen at once, at which point the maximum number of creatures that can be effected becomes ((Total Creatures on Screen / 2) rounded up)
For example, if 7 creatures are on screen at a Boss event, a Tinker Trap can only damage up to 5 of them
If 11 creatures are on screen at a Shrine Corruption event, a Tinker Trap can damage up to 6 of them
If 13 creatures are on screen at an Omni Boss event, a Tinker Trap can damage up to 7 of them
And so on…
