PATCH: Mar. 7 – Strangelands Updates, New Ultra Rare Cloth, Appearance Unlocking, Magic Item Recycler and much much more!

Patch Notes

Strangelands

  • Fixed an issue that unintentionally allowed players to participate in two Strangelands events during the same day
  • Players who attempt to enter Strangelands while mounted will automatically have their Mount stashed (similar to entering a dungeon)
  • Players who have Followers (non-Mounted) in the game world will be reminded via system message when using a Strangelands Gate that they must first Stable those followers before they can enter Strangelands
  • Players entering Strangelands will automatically leave any Parties they are in
  • Players will not be allowed to join Parties while in Strangelands
  • Any Supply Containers that spawn in inaccessable areas will respawn elsewhere after a short duration
  • Player damage to Supply Containers have been increased moderately

Strangelands Trophies

  • When a Creature is killed in Strangelands or any Supply Container is broken open, any players within 12 tiles of it who dealt damage to it will have a chance (based on damage % dealt amonst those players within 12 tiles) for the creature/container’s trophy to appear in their backpack and they will be treated as the “owner” of it
  • If no players who dealt damage to the creature/container are within 12 tiles of it upon death/breaking open, its trophy will appear on its corpse (or ground in the case of Supply Container) and the first player to loot it will be treated as it’s owner
  • As before, any player turning in a trophy that they don’t own (i.e. they looted or traded from another player) will be only worth 50% points

Strangelands Achievements and Rankings

  • Players who were (unintentionally) able to log in for 2 sessions of Strangelands last Sunday have had their Strangelands Achievements, Strangelands “Minutes Alive” stat, and Strangelands Reward Points fixed to reflect playing only 1 session
  • The Strangelands achievements for individual Templates now require 500 Points scored in a session (i.e. “Earn a score of 500 pts or higher with a Ranger”)

  • A new Magic Item Recycler container has been added to the Prevalia Market Merchant under the “Misc” category

  • Players can click the “Dump Container” button to dump items from a container in the players backpack into the Magic Item Recycler
  • Despite it’s name, players can recycle non-Magical items and have the option to filter between Regular and Exceptional quality items
  • Players must select between Weapons, Armor, Spellbooks, and Instruments and only items of that type will be recycled when clicking the “Begin Recycle” button
