PATCH: October 9 – Halloween Seasonal Items, Interior Decorator Update, Bug Fixes and more…

Houses and Interior Decorator

  • XMLSpawners (that generate wilderness creatures) under houses will no longer be displayed by the House Survey mechanic
  • The Interior Decorator now has a Survey button that can be used to immediately trigger a House Survey to check for Insecure and Unlocked Down containers and items
  • The Interior Decorator now has a Close button that MUST be clicked to close the Interior Decorator menu (hitting Escape will only close cursors)

 

Aspect Weapons

  • Updated the mechanic that adjusts the chances of Aspect Weapon Specials based on weapon speed; should now correctly provide the same number of “triggers per hour” for all weapons (previously slower weapons like Heavy Crossbows were receiving less triggers per hour)

Aggression and Murder Reporting

  • Removed a mechanic where players who heal to full hit points would automatically “wipe” damage entries from other players who had attacked them and then be unable to report the attacking player for murderer
  • Damage entries for players will now only wipe after 2 minutes of non-hostile action from the player pass

Poison Spell

  • Fixed an issue where the Poison Sting mechanic (dealing instant damage on casting Poison against an already poisoned target, but not upgrading it) would sometimes fire off even in the case of a target who wasn’t currently poisoned

Stygian Rifts

  • Stygian Servitors will not spawn during the first 30 seconds of a Stygian Rifts Match
  • Changed the handling on respawns for Stygian Rift Servitors to now occur 60 seconds after it dies (instead of being a 90 second interval “check” for respawn)

Dungeon Flashpoints

  • Fixed an issue where players starting in the area of a Dungeon Flashpoint when the event begins would not be flagged as a participant until they left and re-entered the region
  • Players who are in level 1 of a Dungeon Flashpoint dungeon while an event is underway, but are not participating in the event, will no longer be able to cast any field spells (Wall of Stone, Fire Field, Poison Field, Paralyze Field, Energy Field)

Corpse Creek Contests

  • Fixed an issue where players starting in Corpse Creek when the event begins would not be flagged as a participant until they left and re-entered the region

Town Struggles

  • Players should no longer be able to Recall, Gate, or Hike into the region of a Town Struggle if they are currently participating in the event
  • Fixed Town Struggles to now create a new 10 Minute Town Struggle Gate period for any Town Struggles that occur after we do a reboot causing the event to be “missed”

Discord Messages

  • Stygian Rifts and Strangelands should now correctly have Discord notifications for event countdowns
  • Fixed Discord notification countdowns for Dungeon Flashpoints
  • Town Struggles will now be referred to as “Town Struggles” in Discord rather than “Factions”

Arena Tournaments

  • Fixed an issue that was displaying “1 vs 1 Tournament” for 2 vs 2 Tournaments

Blood Feud Statues

  • Players should now be able to double-click Blood Feud statues while locked down

Guild Menu

  • Fixed an issue where players couldn’t navigate to Page 2 and beyond for Guild Treasury Member Transactions page

Fishing Frenzies

  • Fixed several spawn locations for Fishing Frenzies that would appear underground

Torches and Lanterns

  • Players can no longer activate Torches and Lanterns that are currently in a Pack Creature’s backpack

Magic Resist Potion

  • Players can now use another Magic Resist Potion even before their current one expires, so long as it is of an equal or higher strength (bonuses will not stack, and simply will refresh the effect expiration)

Harpoons

  • Harpoons will now spawn in Magical versions as loot

Begging

  • Players using the Begging skill to beg for gold or recruit ship crewmembers will now have an overhead “*begs*” text

Plants

  • Defoliants, Farmer’s Almanacs, Plant Restoratives, Fungacides now are stackable and any existing items of these types will now automatically be converted into a stack based on the number of charges remaining on the item
  • Reduced weight of Defoliants, Farmer’s Almanacs, Plant Restoratives, and Fungicides to 0.1
  • Plant Restoratives purchased from the Prevalia Market Merchant now cost 1 Prevalia Coin (instead of 3) but come in a single item (now stackable)

Player Editor (Test Shard)

  • The Gold Player Editor statue on the Test Shard now has the option for players to create 2500 Arcane Essence via a button

Halloween Prevalia Merchant Items

  • Halloween spirit is in the air and new Halloween-theme items are now available for purchase at the Prevalia Market Merchant in Prevalia
  • Halloween-theme items will be available on the Merchant until November 1, 2020

Shimmer Spirit (Hue 1181) Cloth and Dye items are now available for purchase

Players may now purchase Torn Waist Wraps (Outer Legs layer)

Players may now purchase Torn Tunic (Middle Torso layer)

A large number of new decorative items are now available for purchase

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Returning Items

  • A large number of items from last year’s Halloween Prevalia Market update are returning and available to purchase as well
