PATCH: July 12 – Many Bug Fixes and QoL Updates

Timers

  • Updated code on Timers that should result in many looping timer-based mechanics, such as Chivalry/Necromancy Symbol Regen, to update their changes more precisely for players

Loot

  • The chance for Treasure Maps to occur as loot has been reduced somewhat

Dungeon Hue Items

  • Players can now encounter Dungeon Hue Mastery Chain Dyes as loot for all standard locations (including Ocean, Wilderness, Netherzone)

Arcane Staves

  • Fixed an issue where the [Stats Page values for Arcane Staves were not displaying correct values for Spell Damage or Durability Penalty (at 0 Item Hit Points)

Wizard’s Grimoire

  • Fixed an issue where players could receive the Wizard’s Grimoire bonuses from Mana Drain and Mana Vampire Upgrades even if the player did not have one of those spells active on their target

Societies

  • Fixed an issue where jobs for Sinking Carracks was displaying as “Sink Large Ships”

Pit Trials

  • Lifetime Best Scores for Pit Trials should now correctly update upon completing a Pit Trial (if applicable)
  • Fixed an issue that was causing Netherzone Hued loot to not occur for Pit Trials

Chaos Shrine

  • Players using the Tracking skill will no longer be able to track other creatures or players inside of the Chaos Shrine Region unless they themselves are also currently within the region
  • Using the Teleporters near the Chaos Shrine will now cancel any Targeting Cursor the player currently has

Houses

  • If a player’s House has a Warp Tile configured, using “Hike to House” of an Atlas will hike the player to that Warp Tile location (instead of the Ban Location)
  • Fixed a number of issues that were preventing players with proper house access from being able to Recall/Gate/Travel to configured Warp Tiles
  • Players may now Ban players from houses who are not currently inside of the House (the target will only receive a notification if they are currently inside of the house)
  • Players can now use the Home Surveying Tool to test placement of “Stone And Log Chalet” houses (item which is no longer currently for sale)

Travel

  • Fixed an issue that would allow players to Recall/Gate/Hike to empty ocean locations using expired Ship Runes in Runebooks/Runetomes

Atlas

  • Fixed an issue where Hiking to Old Jhelom Pits would sometimes lead to Time Castle Bridge

Repair Bench

  • Using Repair Kits on a Repair Bench will now attempt to add as many Charges to the Bench as possible (i.e will consume multiple Repair Kits)

Parry Dagger

  • The Effective Parry Skill bonus from Parry Daggers will now display and factor into the [Stats page for players

Achievements

  • The Tunnel Vision and Trophy Hunter achievements are now correctly organized into the Strangelands Category for achievements

Prevalia Trunk

  • Fixed an issue with Ornate Golden Stools not storing Hues correctly in the Prevalia Trunk
  • Cozy Stoves can now be added to the Prevalia Trunk

Aspects

Lightning Aspect Armor

  • Lightning arcs now have a radius of 6 (previously was 4)

Aspect Bleed or Disease Effects
Bleed or Disease Effects created by Aspect Special / Aspect Armor effects can no longer resisted by creatures, with specific descriptions updated below:

Blood Aspect Weapon/Spellbook Special

  • “Inflicts (1000 + (100 * Tier Level)) irresistable bleed damage divided among creatures within a 4 tile radius”

Blood Aspect Armor

  • “Chance to Inflict Irresistable Bleed on Melee/Spell”

Death Aspect Armor

  • “Chance to Inflict Irresistable Disease on Melee/Spell”

Magic Item Vault

  • Players will now receive a “X items require repairing and cannot be added” message if attempting to add items to a Magic Item Vault that first must be repaired
  • Players will no longer be able to add Shields to a Magic Item Vault if they currently have an Accessory Dye Hue, and will receive a “X items contain accessory dyes and cannot be added” message

Rental Rooms

  • Fixed an issue that would cause some House NPCs (such as Stablemasters/Dockmasters) to not convert into a Deed when canceling a Rental Room

Achievements/Antiquities

  • The Settings page of the Achievement Menu has been updated to now also control whether players see Antiquity Registration notifications as well as Achievement Completion notifications

Mastery Chains

  • Fixed an issue causing players to sometimes receive the “Warning: Installed link count exceeds current link limit” notification incorrectly
  • Damage to Poisoned Creatures links will now correctly only apply if the target is affected with Greater Poison or above
  • Fixed an issue where “Charged Spell Chance” bonuses from Mastery Chain Links were not displaying correctly in a player’s [Stats page
  • Fixed an issue where the “Follower Damage Resistance” links wouldn’t always apply the correct effect

Crafting

  • Cestus and Fistblades should now correctly adopt Mastercrafting marks
  • Furniture Dyes, Runebook Dyes, and Mastery Chain Dyes should now be craftable for Arcane, Frost, Lightning, and Madness Aspects

Redline

  • The Redline menu will now remember your Sort Mode selection upon closing the menu

Bosses

  • Fixed an issue that was causing Stonecrafting Statues from Shadowspire Cathedral Bosses to sometimes remain after the boss had died

Tamed Creatures

  • Spitting Vipers, Giant Spitting Vipers, and Colossal Spitting Vipers will now have an Attack Range of 12

Factions

  • Fixed an issue was causing the Flag Lockdown “Sparkles” effect to remain in place beyond its intended duration

Explosion Potion

  • Removed a mechanic that would reduce the damage a Player took from Explosion Potions if they were 1 tile or 2 tiles away from the center of the explosion (i.e. players will all now receive full damage if within explosion radius)

Ships

  • The Perception Range of NPCs on Ships (both Player Crewmember and Monsters/NPCs) has been greatly increased, which should result in less situations where NPCs sit at the far end of a ship and do not engage during combat

AddOns

  • Fixed an issue with the Hardwood Long Desk and Hardwood Long Table Add Ons displaying unintended “rock” graphics (players will need to chop the addon and then place it again to update the graphics)

Tome of Heroism

  • Tomes of Heroism will now lose their Blessed status when their Summoned Omni Boss is killed

Spells

  • Fixed an issue where players casting a spell using a Scroll with less printed Magery than required, but sufficient Magery due to scroll-casting bonus (+20 Magery), would be prevented from casting the spell

Weapon Codexes

Experience

  • Fixed an issue where some players would unlock all Upgrades for their Weapon/Parry Codex but still have Experience available to spend

Arcane Codex

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Scatter stance of the Arcane Codex to ignore the primary target for Hinder chances

Parry Codex

  • Resolving the Mirror stance of the Parry Codex to reflect a creature’s spell will no longer apply a 30 second cooldown for the player to cast the Magic Reflect spell

Organizers

  • Fixed an issue where single-clicking a Magic Item Vault or Magic Item Recycler on the ground could cause the player to crash or disconnect

Storage Shelves

  • Ground Traps in Storage Shelves are now selected in groups of 5
  • Fixed an issue causing some retrieval issues with Ground Traps and not stacking properly
